Celebrating a new Generation of Star Wars

I wanted to celebrate the release of the new Star Wars trilogy with a fun, simple illustration of Rey and BB-8. I kept this as straight-forward as possible, with the highest amount of detail being in the droid. This style is pretty fun for me, and while it might not show as much here it usually leads to greater stylization.

Pieces like this are what I look back on when developing lighthearted illustrations under commission. T-shirts, signs, quick character designs, items that need to pop but do not require extreme detail.
